CMSA Makes Ordering Award Buckles Easy and Affordable!
CMSA has teamed up with Montana Silversmith to make selecting and creating great award buckles easy and affordable for clubs.
Before You Get Started: We recommend you familiarize yourself with our CMSA Award Guidelines to better determine the wording for each award buckle you intend to order.
Step One: Print Out Award Buckle Worksheets.
Click on the link below, then print a Buckle Worksheet for each unique buckle you intend to order.
Examples:
If you plan to order 25 identical buckles for your club, you would need to print only one worksheet.
If you plan to order 25 identical buckles for your club, but each has a different name on them… you would need to print 25 worksheets.
If you plan to order 18 identical buckles as awards for your shoot… you would need to print 18 worksheets because each award is going to be different.
Remember all buckles are made to order, and engraved exactly how you order them.
It is your responsibility to make sure spelling, spaces, names and awards are correct.
These worksheets make it helpful for you to proof each buckle before entering the order.
Step Two: Select Your Buckle.
Before shopping Montana Silversmith’s online catalogue… you need to know a few things.
1. Affiliated & Charter Chapters will receive a 50% discount off the retail price listed, but only if ordered through this CMSA website. CMSA marks up each buckle only $10.00. Add .58 cents for each letter.
2. Fill in the following information for each buckle worksheet:
The style number of the selected buckle.
The number of ribbons the selected buckle has.
The maximum number of characters for each ribbon.
Count all spaces and punctuations as a character.
Do not exceed the number of characters specified for a ribbon.

Step Three: Select Your Buckle’s Logo
We have 3 Mounted Shooting logos to choose from.
Click on the link below and note the logo number on your Worksheet.

Step Four: Fill In What You Want Engraved On Each Buckle Worksheet
One worksheet for each buckle unless every buckle on that worksheet is the same.
On the worksheet fill in Ribbon 1, Ribbon 2, Ribbon 3, etc.
Remember CMSA Award Guidelines when wording the engraving of your award buckles.
Remember you must not exceed the maximum number of characters allowed per ribbon.
Remember all letters, punctuation, and spaces count as a character.
Step Five: Order Your Buckles
Once you have a completed and proofed worksheet for each buckle in front of you...
Click the "Buckle Order Form" link below and fill out one form for each worksheet you have.
Single Buckle Orders:
1. Click “Order this Buckle” to send your buckle order to CMSA.
2. Review the printable confirmation page on your screen to make sure what you
just submitted is correct.
Multiple Buckle Orders:
1. Click “Order this Buckle” to send this buckle order to CMSA.
2. Review the printable confirmation page on your screen to make sure what you
just submitted is correct.
3. Click the "BACK" button on your Browser.
4. Make all necessary changes on the order form for your next buckle.
5. Repeat steps 1 thru 4 until all your buckles are ordered.
CMSA assigns each order a Purchase Order number.
Purchase Orders are emailed to Montana Silversmiths for production, and you’re sent another email confirmation.
Check email confirmation carefully, it is your final opportunity to proof your order.
Montana Silversmiths then produces and ships your order direct back to you. Please use a physical address instead of a PO Box whenever possible.
Make sure you allow time. It takes up to 5 weeks to create your buckle order… and we ask you DO NOT call Montana Silversmiths to check the status of your order.
